Dubai International Financial Centre
DIFC is an onshore financial centre strategically located between the east and west, providing a secure and efficient platform for business and financial institutions to reach into and out of the emerging markets of the region. The centre's independent regulation, common law framework, supportive infrastructure and its tax-free regime make it the perfect base to take advantage of the region’s rapidly growing demand for financial and business services.
THE CHALLENGE
DIFC approached Xische in 2007 to help them communicate the organization's newly restructured business objectives developed in partnership with consulting firm McKinsey & Co. Our task was to build a new communication strategy across all client touch-points. We conducted board-level workshops to understand the primary objectives for each customer-facing and internal department, producing a full strategic report on our recommended initiatives.
The first culmination of the strategic shift was the completely restructured and visually reimaged website for the Dubai International Financial Centre at DIFC.com followed by developing DIFC's social media strategy, and its engagement plan. We then built key messaging and credential pitch-books, and reimagined all customer touch-points from forms to letters.
